Lee Da-hae Meets Elon Musk’s Mother, Dressed in Full Chanel Not to Feel Intimidated
On July 12, a new video titled “Lee Da-hae Meets Elon Musk‘s Mother in Hangzhou?!” was released on YouTube channel “1+1=Lee Da-hae“. The footage showed her attending a major launch event for a cosmetics brand, held in Hangzhou, where none other than Maye Musk, a supermodel and mother of billionaire Elon Musk, was also present.
Lee Da-hae arrived in full luxury fashion mode, head-to-toe in iconic French brand Chanel. Laughing at her own fashion statement, she remarked, Don’t I look like the eldest daughter today? I literally brought everything I had at home.
The actress also proudly showed off a dress and pearl necklace gifted by her husband, singer Seven, as well as a handbag and necklace she’s owned for over 20 years.
Explaining the reason behind her high-fashion look, Lee Da-hae revealed, “Maye Musk is closely connected to this brand and is very active in China. She always shows up looking amazing, so I came dressed like this to hold my own next to her. I didn’t want to feel intimidated.“
The actress, who was dazzling in her black tube top gown, exuded elegance. At the event, she also had a heartwarming reunion with actor Song Seung-heon, her former co-star from the MBC drama “East of Eden”.
Later on, when the event kicked off, Maye Musk appeared on stage to greet the audience. Lee Da-hae, visibly excited, said, “A friend of mine already got a photo with her. Let’s take one together later too!“
However, the actress soon found herself overwhelmed by the number of fans lining up for photos with herself. “It’s total chaos. I haven’t even had time to eat. I think I’ve taken at least ten thousand photos today,” she said, opening up about the challenges behind her immense popularity.
